Doctor Dolittle

There was once a doctor who was taught by his parrot to understand and speak the language of animals. That doctor, more precisely Dr. Dolittle, loved animals so much that his house looked more like a zoo than a doctor's office, so he had fewer and fewer human patients. However, his pets discovered a whole new world for him and took him on numerous adventures that were recorded in the stories of the English writer Hugh Lofting. He dedicated his books about a good doctor who understands animals to "children by age and children by heart" and thus quickly gained a large audience among various generations of readers. For more than a hundred years, Dr. Dolittle enjoys great popularity and his adventures have found their place on small and big screens, in theaters, picture books, countless editions, radio adaptations and even in video games. In this adaptation, animals suffer from an unusual malady and run away so Dr. Dolittle goes to look for them in distant lands. In this exciting tale, our little pigs, goats, ducklings and other creatures will find a safe way home with, of course, a little help from a good doctor who understands them.
